We Are Signs Pty Ltd is one of Sydney's leading trade based sign companies, having served the industry since its inception in 1993. From traditional Signwriting techniques, to computer cut lettering, and high resolution digital printing, We Are Signs has developed their technology, personnel and experience to meet all signage requirements over the past years.
Our Experience
Experience is essential in any business and business partners Ross and Steve have a combined total of 47 years associated with the painting and sign trades. With the sign industry moving into today's modern technology, We are signs has also moved forward with the times while maintaining the qualities of a company that is proud to have learned from past masters yet understands the needs of today's sign customer.
Our Qualifications
Both business partners Ross Williamson and Steve Cattermole hold trade certificates in Painting & Decorating as well as Signwriting and hold following additional course accreditations:
- Post trade/Advanced Signwriting (Sydney TAFE)
- Green Card (Construction Site Certification)
- AIP (Australian Institute of Petroleum worksite certification- Service Stations)
- Yellow Card (Elevated Work Platform certification)
- Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) Accreditation
(Working within a Port secure Zone)
Our Training
We are Signs has maintained its commitment to the ongoing viability
of the Sign industry by successfully training 7 Apprentices since 1993
and currently supports the Sydney TAFE Signcraft Apprenticeship course
by sponsoring its second year training awards. 2 of our apprentices
have achieved accreditations throughout their course studies. All our
current staff are versed in current Occupational Health and Safety Practices
associated with the Sign Industry with particular attention to the operation
of sign making equipment in our Rozelle workshop.
Our Location
Based in the inner west suburb Rozelle, We Are Signs is one of the closest Sign companies to the city of Sydney and services broad range of city based clientelle. Our central location in Sydney and the close proximity to main arterial roads makes our services readily available for clients wishing to use our services from North of the city (5 minutes over Harbour Bridge), East to Bondi (10 minutes on Cross City Tunnel), South to Botany/Mascot (15 minutes CCT/Eastern Distributor) and west to the F4 Connection at Strathfield (20 minutes). This is particularly advantageous to multi store corporate and franschise clients who prefer to use one company for all their signage needs.
We Are Signs have also completed signage from Newcastle over to Tamworth and from Canberra over to Nowra so travel is never a problem. Although not a franchise We Are Signs does have partner companies in Brisbane and Melbourne, should the same standard of quality work be required in other states.
Our Company Liabilites
As a Propriety Limited company We Are Signs complies with current WorkCover requirements and our employees are fully insured for workers compensation.
In addition We Are Signs has Public liability insurance totalling $20,000,000. Certificates of currency, regarding these insurances, can be obtained by clients of We Are Signs Pty Ltd upon request.
